We welcome short articles (maximum 2500 words) from both academics and non-academics related to any aspect of Kerry’s rich and diverse culture and heritage. This has grown over the years into a much-respected stand-alone publication, which provides a platform for both academics and non-academics to publish short articles, pertaining not only to archaeology/history but also to the wider culture and heritage of the County.Īrticles submitted for consideration for publication by the editorial sub-committee of The Kerry Magazine, should be submitted by May 15 of any given year. It was first published in 1989, when it was primarily intended as a newsletter to keep members abreast of activities within the Society. The Kerry Magazine is an annual publication of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society.
